the talking heads were busy today hitting a beat to find someone to betray how could you know that they would take what you value and twist it up until it no longer held true don't try to talk back; listen, answer, obey its not a lead they want they're looking for prey they'll try to tell you everything's alright they'll try to tell you everything's okay but I'm counting lies this time punisher pundits pointing fingers to say "judgment day is coming, you won't be saved!" I never trust the word of man nor messiah I'm more concerned with who is willing to buy out its dotted lines and dollar signs sign on the line to see the dollar sign but I'm counting lies this time

one more one more hands up to run away there's a fire in the street no more no more these are the flames that fuel our rage

how much longer can we keep dancing on this crumbling edge before it gives out we won't be able to stop from falling it seems that we have reached a point of no return I just hope that we can find a way (find a way) to move further away because there's no love in the grave the winds are howling, pushing, pulling hair twisting everywhere, our feet on fragile ground one misstep and we'll go crashing but still we fall away by not moving at all but you won't see me cry as I fall away, tumbling through the sky they say stranger things have happened but history would be great if only it were true the lies kissed back and forth aren't helping this world may be harsh but it's people that are cruel
